Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich is a Serbian actor, director and singer was born on October 29 in 1976. She is best known for her character in the role of NYPD Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order.



 



 Early childhood education and early life



 Govich was born in Norman County, Oklahoma. Dr. Bruce Michael Govich (who died in 1998) as well as Dr. Marilyn Green Govich [2were both professors of music. Marilyn teaches voice at University of Central Oklahoma, while Bruce was employed at University of Oklahoma. Her father was Serbian and her mother has Scottish and English ancestry. Milica Govich is Milica's aunt and has been seen on film, television as well as Broadway.



 



 Milena was the class valedictorian at Norman High School in 1995. Following her academic family, Milena graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma as valedictorian. This time she graduated with a double degree in premedical and performance sciences, along with a minor on dancing and violin. Govich after graduation, relocated to New York City in pursuit of an acting career.
